Most people fit stolen vehicle tracking as an insurance requirement and purchase based on price.  This means it is sometimes possible to overlook the need for quality.  The SmarTrack Protector provides both.  Priced at £299.00, the Protector is simply the best value for money system available.

This system is a Thatcham Q Class, insurance approved, GPS based product and, if stolen, would be monitored by an Operating Centre which is manned 24 hours a day.   It has been designed with simplified cabling to ensure that once installed it is very difficult for a thief to find.  This simplified cabling also makes installation easier for us which is why we are able to keep the cost so low without having to compromise the integrity of our installation.

In the event of theft, the driver would need to alert the Operating Centre and obtain a crime reference number or incident number from the Police.  This number would be used by the Operating Centre when communicating the whereabouts of the vehicle to the police.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are paid directly to SmarTrack SOC.  In order to ensure that your system is tracking on installation, we will have completed as much of the subscription form for you as possible.  SmarTrack will, however, require further details for security and payment purposes and although we will email you details of the required information, you will still need to sign an original copy of the form which will be sent to you with your SmarTrack Protector.

This system is both Thatcham Q Class approved as well as Sold Secure making it an exciting option for all types of vehicles including motor homes and caravans.

Incorporating GPS technology with the very latest in stolen vehicle tracking technology to provide an insurance approved, affordable system.

This system is a Thatcham Q Class, insurance approved, GPS based product and, if stolen, would be monitored by a Secure Operating Centre which is manned 24 hours a day.   It has been designed with simplified cabling to ensure that once installed it is very difficult for a thief to find. 

A sophisticated motion sensor will alert the Operating Centre if the vehicle is moved and they will contact you to confirm that a theft is in progress.  The system will also inform the Operating Centre in the event of the vehicle's battery running low, this is in case a cable has been cut or in the event of insufficient charge in the battery.

In the event of theft by either towing or through a low loader, the Secure Operating Centre would contact the driver to confirm the theft and would ask the driver to obtain a crime reference number or incident number from the Police.  This number would be used by the Operating Centre when communicating the whereabouts of the vehicle to the police.

The SmarTrack Alert 24 works along side the vehicle's existing immobiliser which should prevent theft through hot–wiring.  Please call us if you do not have an immobiliser fitted as we can arrange to fit one for you whilst fitting your tracking system.  It is important to remember that in the event of theft by hot–wiring the system would have no way of knowing that their was a theft in progress and would therefore not trigger.  This does not mean that your vehicle could not be tracked but you would need to contact SmarTrack SOC to track the vehicle for you.
